Job summary

Emotiv Mobility is seeking a skilled Materials Supervisor to lead material operations across shipping, receiving, and production support in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The role requires supervising material handlers, ensuring on-time shipments, and maintaining inventory control while driving efficiency and cost objectives. This leadership position supports plant operations and quality adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive.

Responsibilities

• Supervise material handlers across shipping, receiving, and production operations.
• Ensure customer shipment windows and on-time delivery requirements are consistently met.
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to meet daily schedules and material needs.
• Manage staffing levels and overtime to align with production demands and budget.
• Oversee shipping documentation including bills of lading and manual shippers.
• Support inventory control, material flow improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements (e.g., TS/IATF standards).
• Lead employee performance management, training, and development.
• Coordinate special projects including layout, packaging, and process improvements.
• This position is for our B Crew, and the schedule is T-F (6pm - 4:30am, with the potential to work until 6 am if customer needs demand it).

The Role

We are seeking a results-driven Materials Supervisor to lead material operations across shipping, receiving, and production support. Who You Are

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive
• Experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory control
• Knowledge of JIT/ISP systems and customer shipping requirements
• Strong computer skills (ERP or Trans4M preferred)
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements

• Ability to work in office and manufacturing plant environments
• Normal sitting, standing, and mobility throughout facility
• Exposure to plant conditions and potential spill response situations
• Up to 5% travel required
• Valid driver's license required
