Job summary

Emotiv is seeking a motivated Materials Supervisor to lead material operations across shipping, receiving, and production support in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will supervise material handlers and ensure on-time customer shipments while maintaining inventory control.

You will coordinate with production and planning teams to meet daily schedules, manage staffing and overtime, and oversee shipping documentation, inventory flow, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive
• Experience in logistics, shipping, and inventory control
• Knowledge of JIT/ISP systems and customer shipping requirements
• Ability to lead teams and drive accountability
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Supervise material handlers supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations
• Ensure customer shipment windows and on-time delivery requirements are consistently met
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to meet daily schedules and material needs
• Manage staffing levels and overtime to align with production demands and budget
• Oversee shipping documentation including bills of lading and manual shippers
• Support inventory control, material flow improvements, and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements (e.g., TS/IATF standards)
• Lead employee performance management, training, and development
• Coordinate special projects including layout, packaging, and process improvements
• This position is for our B Crew, and the schedule is T-F (6pm - 4:30am, with the potential to work until 6 am if customer needs demand it).

The Role

Health, Safety, Physical & Travel Requirements

• Ability to work in office and manufacturing plant environments
• Normal sitting, standing, and mobility throughout facility
• Exposure to plant conditions and potential spill response situations
• Up to 5% travel required
• Valid driver's license required
