Job description

Job Description

The Cutting Stock Handler is responsible for moving and organizing product between our cutting and finishing departments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Material handling utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks
  2. Operating a Load Turning machine
  3. Performing quality checks
  4. General plant clean-up
  5. All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday) or 3rd shift (10pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday) with some overtime/weekend work. Training would be on 1st shift (6am - 2pm, Monday - Friday) for up to 120 days.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus but not required

Education

High School diploma preferred

Experience
  • 1 year of Data Entry (preferred)
  • 1 year of Safety Compliance (preferred)

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
  • Time Management skills (preferred)
