Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Material Handler in Largo, FL to support manufacturing with a focus on inventory accuracy and orderly warehouse operations. You will pull and stage jobs, deliver staged work per production, and respond to material requisitions when Kanban is not in place.

The role emphasizes accurate inventory management and safe, efficient material handling. The position offers an hourly rate of $21.54 with shift differential, standard Mon-Fri hours, and potential Saturday overtime

Qualifications

• Excel: create and maintain spreadsheets by pulling data from our computer systems.
• Communication: front facing with customers and logistic teams in-person and via emails or phone.
• Overall excellent computer knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Shipping Operations: review overnight emails and update shipping schedule; mark completed shipments and coordinate pickups.
• Shipping Schedule Management: maintain weekly shipping schedule and classify shipments by truckload and international shipments.
• International Shipping: organize international orders, maintain CI tracking, prepare invoices, and track approvals.
• Carrier Coordination: email carriers in advance and provide pallet dimensions and order numbers.
• Shipping Documentation: deliver paperwork to Customer Service and verify packing lists.
