Job summary

United Weld Holdings is seeking a Materials Services Technician to contribute to a robust Materials team. You will transmit inventory releases to fabrication shops, perform BOM take-offs, and help maintain project specifications in drafting software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry level acceptable.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; familiarity with collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; strong time management.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Transmit inventory releases to fabrication shops.
• Perform material take-offs from isometrics or run IDF/PCF files for BOM extraction.
• Build and maintain project specifications in drafting software per project docs.
• Associate transfer requisitions with inventory transfers; submit non-transferable material requisitions.
• Process revision spools and new spool releases from engineering.
• Release spools to fabrication shops and perform short report actions.
• Make substitutions in J.D. Edwards and redline sketches as needed.
• Create ship loose spools and support other duties as assigned.
