Job summary

Neros in Torrance, CA is seeking a Materials Associate to ensure accurate, timely flow of materials from receiving through production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will handle receiving, put-away, material handling, Kanban, and cycle counts while maintaining traceability and supporting multiple work centers. A focus on safety and collaboration with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Entry-level to 2 years of experience in materials, receiving, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, production support, or a related environment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and perform transactions within ERP, inventory management, and handheld scanning systems.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to accurately verify part numbers, quantities, labels, inventory locations, and other material-identification information.
• Ability to follow documented receiving, inventory, material-handling, safety, and traceability procedures.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform work that requires standing, walking, bending, and repetitive material-handling activities for extended periods
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing production priorities
• Ability to work collaboratively across Receiving, Inventory, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other manufacturing functions

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, unpack, verify, label, and process incoming materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and other required documentation, escalating discrepancies as needed
• Perform material put-away, picking, staging, transfers, replenishment, and delivery to production while completing accurate inventory transactions and maintaining material traceability
• Support production work centers through lineside replenishment, material requests, Kanban activities, and movement of raw materials, components, subassemblies, work-in-process, and finished goods
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities and assist with investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Maintain accurate inventory locations, quantities, lot and serial number traceability, and associated system records
• Cross-train and work across Receiving, Inventory, and Production Support based on production priorities and operational requirements

What you will be doing

As a Materials Associate at Neros, you will support the accurate and timely flow of material from receiving through production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a cross-functional role supporting receiving, inventory control, material handling, and production support activities to ensure materials are accurately received, controlled, and available when needed to support manufacturing operations.

• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, or other material-handling equipment

US Salary Range

$26.00/hr to $28.00/hr USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
