Job summary

Robinson, Inc. is seeking a Materials Readiness Supervisor in Altoona, IA to lead material readiness processes and ensure timely availability of materials for production.

You will supervise coordinators, partner with planning, purchasing, and production, and drive improvements in material visibility and readiness across the plant.

This role requires strong analytics, communication, and leadership to protect production schedules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily material readiness processes to ensure materials arrive on time.
  • Supervise Coordinators responsible for shortages and missing parts.
  • Monitor shortages, missing material, and at-risk work orders.
  • Develop visibility tools and reports for material status by job.
  • Collaborate with planning, purchasing, production, inventory, and materials teams to resolve gaps.
  • Support root-cause analysis for shortages and readiness failures.
  • Escalate material risks impacting output or schedule.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material availability and readiness processes.
  • Train and develop team members and foster a proactive culture.
