Job summary

RTX seeks a Next Generation Jammer Material Program Manager (MPM) in Forest, MS. You will lead material strategies for Production and Sustainment, Special Test Equipment and Peculiar Support Equipment, translating demand into executable plans with Supply Chain and our suppliers.

The role requires a university degree with 5+ years in operations, supply chain, procurement or materials, US citizenship, and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent with at least 5 years in relevant field.
  • Advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Production Control, Procurement, or Engineering.
  • U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required prior to start date.
  • Eligible for U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in program, IPTL, and supplier meetings as a core SCM member.
  • Review and burn down SCM metrics and provide Materials Management metric support.
  • Develop and drive material sales and monthly material forecasting.
  • Partner with Procurement and Supplier Performance Management to resolve supplier issues.
  • Support EAC material inputs and variance analysis for SCM.
  • Support proposal activities for future contracts.
  • Commitment to obtain MPM level 4 certification within 1 year of accepting position.
  • Ability to travel: 25%.

The Next Generation Jammer Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with a demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding performance and collaboration in a cross-functional team operating in a matrix organization.

The MPM will be responsible for material strategies and plans supporting Production and Sustainment execution, Special Test Equipment (STE) and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) while driving efforts to achieve material sales goals and delivering efficiencies to the Next Generation Jammer factory in Forest, MS. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, should be able to lead both tactical and strategic efforts, and will work with cross-functional teams supporting the program and factory to facilitate the strategy and transition of demand requirements into executable plans with Supply Chain and our supply base. The successful candidate will have operations, supply chain, procurement or materials management experience and exhibit leadership skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across the organization.

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Professional experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Production Control, Procurement, or Engineering
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Role Type and Classification

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

Salary Justification

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Benefit Conditions

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
