Job summary

Cohen Recycling seeks a Material Processor to join the First shift in Sharonville, OH. You will process metals and materials, recording weights and identifying ferrous/non-ferrous types while following ISO specs.

Work outdoors in all weather, unload/sort materials, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. This full-time role offers benefits and a team-focused environment with opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical labor (standing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Come with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• No experience required, but equipment experience is awesome.

Responsibilities

• Assist unloading and sorting various metals and materials.
• Accurately identify and record weight of materials being processed.
• Properly identify ferrous & non-ferrous metal types and materials per ISO specifications.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including baling trash and inspecting for hazards.
• Work unsupervised at times and stay on task.
