Cohen Recycling is seeking a dedicated Material Processor for first shift in Miamisburg, OH. You will process materials outdoors, identify metal types, and ensure accuracy in weight measurements while adhering to ISO specs and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; no prior experience required, equipment familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical labor such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting (50lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• No experience necessary, but equipment experience is awesome.

Responsibilities

• Assist unloading and sorting various metals and materials.
• Accurately identify and record weight of materials being processed.
• Properly identify ferrous & non-ferrous metal types and materials in accordance with ISO specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including baling trash and keeping walkways clear.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and honesty; may work unsupervised at times.

We are seeking a highly motivated Material Processor to join our First shift team in West Carrolton, OH. As a Material Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely processing of materials in accordance with company standards. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all materials are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires an important level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

• Properly identify ferrous &non-ferrous metal types and materials in accordance with company standards and internal ISO specifications.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, which include baling accumulated trash, keeping walkways free of debris, and performing environmental hazard inspections

• Honest and Trustworthy. This position will require you to work unsupervised some of the time and you will be expected to stay on task
