Job summary

Daifuku Automotive America Corporation in Reynoldsburg, OH, seeks a Material Processor I to support production through machine operation, cutting, sawing, drilling and grinding. Prep kits and client-outs to meet customer specs while inspecting parts for quality.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years in material processing in manufacturing. Safety and teamwork are emphasized; benefits and bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have intermediate blueprint reading knowledge and the ability to follow the work order instructions.
• Ability to properly use material processing tools and machines such as drill presses, punches, saws, and layout tools.
• Forklift, overhead crane and man lift experience preferred (in-house training available).
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre employment drug test
• Team player - must be able to communicate and work with others
• Must have and maintain a high sense of urgency to meet and exceed all production goals

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to support production processes including cutting, sawing, drilling, tapping and grinding.
• Prep kits and client-outs to meet customer specifications.
• Visually inspect parts for quality and defects.
• Follow plant safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends/holidays
