Structure Personnel is working with a great company that has been successful for the last 110 years. They are expanding their workforce at their Bedford, Ohio campus which has been in production since 1960. They are seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join several departments within their foundry. If you are passionate about your work and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you! These are full time positions with hourly pay that ranges from $16 to $23 an hour depending on experience and shifts.

MATERIAL PROCESSING MACHINE OPERATOR

Open position:

• Heat Wheeler

Shifts:

• 12-hour Rotating day shift: 6:30am - 7:00 pm
• 12-hour Rotating night shift: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am

Training:

• Training for 1 to 2 months
• Must be detailed
• Follow tag numbers
• Get "Recipe" and weighs items
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Be able to move on and off a lift truck

Responsibilities:

• Drain, transfer, or remove molten metal from furnaces, and place it into molds, using hoists, pumps, or ladles.
• Prepare material to load into furnaces, including cleaning, crushing, or sorting, bricking, by using crushing machines, briquetting machines, shovels etc.
• Controlling Machines and Processes.
• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, Heavy Machinery and/or Equipment.
• Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
• At times working in confined spaces.
• Using equipment such as hand tools, industrial metal furnaces, tow motors, blasters and overhead cranes.
• Comfortable wearing FULL RESPIRATORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
• Standing and bending for long periods of time.
• Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
• Working with a team as well as independently.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift.
• Follow all company safety practices and rules.
• Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Employee Handbook and adhere to proper code of conduct while on company property.
• Hot work and lockout/tagout operation.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. without difficulty.
• Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision.
