Responsibilities

• Assist the press operator and roll tender in daily printing operations.
• Assist in the operation of the press.
• Follow the production schedule for printing jobs.
• Review job bags to obtain correct job information for stacker setup.
• Ensure the correct load flags are being used.
• Complete all required information on load flags, including initials, shift, bundle quantities, pallet counts, and net amounts.
• Ensure proper pallets and end boards are used for the product being produced.
• Set up the stacker to maximize bundle quality and minimize product damage.

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Material Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
