Job summary

Stroud Supply is seeking a dependable Material Prep associate to cut and assemble doors and components for builders. You will stock materials, operate shop equipment, measure and prep components, and ensure quality before shipment.

Ideal candidates have carpentry experience, read work orders, and can lift up to 50 lbs. The role runs Monday–Friday from 8am to 5pm in West Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, construction, or woodworking preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, use measuring tools, and follow instructions.
• Comfortable using power tools and operating shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and modify door components per order requirements
• Operate hand tools, saws, drills, and other door shop machinery
• Accurately measure, cut, and prep door components
• Inspect products for defects or quality issues before shipment
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
