A leading company in defense and aerospace is seeking a motivated individual for a Supply Chain position. This role offers growth opportunities, encompassing responsibilities in material management and production support, while providing hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma and familiarity with inventory management tools.
The position is in a fast-paced environment; requires a high-energy, highly motivated person with the ability to learn quickly and work well with others. Offers great opportunities for exposure and growth in all Supply Chain areas and beyond. You will gain experience and knowledge by interacting daily with all operations disciplines within Supply Chain, as well as Operations Engineering, Technicians, and Assembly personnel. Provides great exposure to a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Material Management - Coordinates the internal flow of material, kits, and manufactured hardware to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and operations commitments on engineering and production programs. Responsible for point-of-use inventory control and compliance, including audits and cycle counting.
Production Support - Supports the manufacturing process by performing kit release, material support, and documentation maintenance activities within production and engineering lab environments to ensure that required supplies support manufacturing schedules and operations commitments. Supports shipments to stock and internal/external customers.
Note: Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of this role, work will be performed full-time onsite at a BAE Systems facility.
High school diploma required; college degree or pursuit of a degree in related supply chain/business fields is a plus. Experience with Solumina, Oracle, PDM, and TipQA is advantageous. Knowledge of inventory management and production systems is required. Good understanding of MS Office.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing and inventory management tools such as Solumina, Oracle, PDM, and TipQA or other ERP/MRP systems is preferred. Ability to learn quickly through on-the-job training. Secret clearance is preferred. Must be a self-starter willing to learn new manufacturing, quality, and inventory management skills.
Full-Time Salary Range: $46,680 - $74,687
