The Material Planning Analyst is an established performer who facilitates and supports the Distribution/Production functions and projects by managing inventory levels to meet budget requirements and support proper customer service levels for imported products. This role works closely with planning and operations teams to analyze data, generate insights, and develop effective planning strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Participates in projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
- Assists division management or project team in developing strategic long-range and short-range plans to improve performance and process efficiency, emphasizing predictability in forecasting.
- Handles confidential data responsibly and manages goods, tools, equipment, and valuable software.
- Develops purchasing and inventory plans, implementing constraints to meet capacity and budget goals.
- Expedites and monitors production orders through the supply chain to meet service demands.
- Issues purchasing requisitions for assigned product categories.
- Follows up on shortage reports and provides in-stock arrival dates.
- Authorizes and assigns inventory rehandles as necessary.
- Tracks critical vendor shipments and manages import product development and follow-up design.
- Conducts studies, prepares reports, and advises on feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance, utilizing research techniques and regulatory knowledge.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles, along with industry standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
