Role Overview

The Material Planning Analyst supports Distribution and Production by managing inventory levels to meet budget and customer service goals for imported products. This role involves data analysis, strategic planning, and collaboration with planning and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work onsite in Dallas; sponsorship is not available for this role.
  2. Participate in projects as part of a team.
  3. Assist in developing strategic and operational plans to improve performance and forecasting.
  4. Handle confidential data and manage inventory, tools, and equipment responsibly.
  5. Create purchasing and inventory plans, ensuring capacity and budget adherence.
  6. Monitor production orders and supply chain to meet service demands.
  7. Issue requisitions, track shortages, and manage inventory rehandles.
  8. Manage import product development and follow-up processes.
  9. Conduct feasibility studies, prepare reports, and advise on regulatory compliance.
  10. Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
  • Strong knowledge of industry practices, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High integrity and discretion handling sensitive data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
