Job summary

On Line Design, Inc. in Franklin, Ohio is seeking a Material Planner to serve as an inventory expert, ensuring raw and packaging materials are available to meet production schedules while minimizing overstock and shortages.

You will manage material requirements, maintain safety stock, coordinate supplier deliveries, process orders in the ERP system, and support month-end inventory activities. A strong Excel skillset and experience with ERP/MRP systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in SCM, logistics, business, engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in planning, purchasing, or inventory control.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP/MRP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage material requirements (MRP) to support on-time production
• Maintain appropriate inventory and safety stock levels
• Coordinate supplier deliveries, expedite orders, resolve shortages, and maintain an accurate shipping and receiving calendar.
• Process work orders and goods receipts within the ERP system
• Support month-end/year-end inventory activities and reporting
• Track and report on inventory-related KPIs
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow
• Partner cross-functionally with production, sales, engineering, and accounting
