Job summary

AMP is seeking a Materials Operations Clerk at our Commerce City location. The role supports factory operations, finance and business development, with a strong interest in recycling and adaptability to evolving AMP programs.

Responsibilities include forecasting customer orders, maintaining run schedules, managing inventory levels, and overseeing shipping, receiving and storage of raw materials. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing and APICS CPIM is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS certification (e.g. CPIM) preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with the Customer on planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.
  • Maintain and distribute daily/weekly run schedule.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements and company financial goals.

  • Communicate with plant colleagues on inventories and anticipated production needs.
  • Ensure and capture inventory accuracy of downgraded and rejected material from suppliers, in process and postproduction.
  • Responsible for total inventory accuracy of 98%+ in value
  • Ensure material storage is in compliance with standards
  • Logistics
  • Oversee procedures for shipping, receiving and storing raw materials
  • Organize and manage deliveries, advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to set up deliveries.
  • Initiate traces with carriers for proof of deliveries when needed
  • Resolve invoicing issues in cooperation with suppliers and accounts payable
  • Participate in the annual physical inventory
  • Ensure that the company’s standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions
  • General
  • Ensures that equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each shift.
  • Adheres to all company and regulatory safety standards and rules.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

AMP is looking for a Materials Operations Clerk for our Commerce City location.

This role will work closely with our facility operations, finance and business development teams. This role requires a deep interest in recycling, as well as flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of AMP programs, projects and organization.

Salary & Compensation Information

$26.50 - $28.50 per hour

Travel Requirements
  • Travel as needed - up to 10% *Please note: this role requires travel.
Schedule
  • Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30 pm or 7am to 5:30pm
  • Occasional Fridays as needed
