Position Summary: The Material Operation Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming shipments and merchandise at our company. This position will supervise the receiving department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner.

About MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

Essential Functions: (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

Basic Qualifications: (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)

  • Verify the DMR/RMA report and packing slip creation, as well as maintenance history log
  • Free of Change samples, return to vendor, in and out samples or parts, and quality issue parts management.
  • OS&D process follow-up and reporting (material handlers, logistics issue)
  • Communicate with office members on clerical procedures involved in processing purchase orders, delivery packing slip and POD, maintenance of records, files vendors
  • Communicate with receiving clerk, and other teams for problem-solving
  • Management outsourcing warehouse inventory (If necessary)
  • Incoming part counting/inspection/sorting (if necessary)
  • Inventory Accuracy (Cycle Counting, Inventory Accuracy, Action) including unpacking and repacking
  • Feed materials to production lines and operate relevant logistics equipment (PDA, Pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Place materials within boxes (as needed) and take corrective measures for issues related to incorrectly loaded materials.
  • Analysis and report root cause of daily cycle counting variance
  • Analysis and report of regular/irregular physical inventory
  • PDA cycle counting and verification
  • Label inventory stocks for delivery if required
  • Monitor inventory FIFO and high rack inventory accuracy
  • Production Feeding Process Management
  • Incoming Material management including LP and CKD Suppliers
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • 4+ years of hands-on leadership experience in warehousing and distribution.
  • Food grade operations & various forklift truck and warehouse experience.
  • Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / MOBIS
  • Experienced in automotive assembly/manufacturing

  • Comprehensive problem-solving skills across the plant.
  • Computer proficient and detail-oriented
  • Prior MS Office and/or SAP/MNAe/Hyundai portal experience is desirable
  • Operation skill of all types of equipment in the warehouse (standup & seat type of forklift, tugger, hand jack and so on)

Preferred Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Just in time management field in the logistics industry
  • Experienced in the logistics field
  • Back-up reservation logistics manager

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent experience & education.
  • Proven leadership capabilities preferred. Ability to teach and lead team regarding process improvements, new techniques, or updated procedures.
  • Familiar with part sequencing, kiting, barcoding, and the importance of safe material handling principles.
  • Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Above-average mechanical aptitude and analytical skills. Knowledge of SAP or the PAB process is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
  • None required Working Conditions: Floor office setting, some walking and standing within and between buildings.
