Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a detail‑driven Receiving Specialist to join our Operations team in Orlando. You will verify inbound shipments against POs, perform quantity checks, and ensure accurate lot/serial data in the ERP system.

You’ll apply barcodes, route materials to IQC, and maintain complete receiving records to support on‑time production. The role requires forklift operation, safety compliance, and the ability to work with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Logistics, Planning, and

Qualifications

• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail in receiving and inventory tasks.
• Experience reading and reconciling POs, packing lists, BOLs, and supplier certifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS receiving transactions and RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound shipments against POs and packing lists.
• Perform quantity, part number, and revision checks; document damages and discrepancies.
• Execute ERP/WMS transactions; capture lot/serial numbers and storage locations.
• Print/apply barcodes; ensure traceability of materials.
• Route hardware to IQC per inspection plans; stage/quarantine as required.
• Maintain receiving documentation and ensure retrievability of records.
• Manage nonconformances; initiate NCRs and support MRB actions.
• Comply with ITAR/EAR controls, hazmat handling, and safety procedures.
• Perform put-away, transfers, and line-side delivery to support production schedules.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; follow rigging standards.
• Collaborate with Buyers, SQ, Logistics, Planning, and Production to resolve receipt issues.
• Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and dock-to-stock improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by updating work instructions.
