Kiewit is seeking a Materials Manager to lead the site materials program on major projects in the United States. You will coordinate with procurement, logistics, and field teams to ensure timely material availability and alignment with project schedules.
The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, and experience with ERP systems, with a willingness to travel or relocate as project needs dictate.
The Materials Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall materials program for assigned projects, ensuring materials are planned, procured, received, stored, issued, tracked, and delivered to support safe and efficient project execution. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all site materials management activities and acts as the conduit between construction, project management, procurement, logistics, suppliers, and field operations.
The Materials Manager provides leadership to site materials teams, establishes and maintains materials management processes, drives inventory accuracy, and ensures material availability aligns with project schedules and construction priorities. This individual effectively collaborates across all levels of the organization, develops team members through coaching and accountability, and leads project mobilization and demobilization efforts for materials management operations.
