Material Logistics and Property Coordinator(ContingencyHire)

TechTrans International provides language, logistics services and much more worldwide.We are seeking forFull-Time Materials Logistics Coordinatorcontingent on upcoming government contract award.

The Materials Logistics Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Global Material Transit Manager and serves as the supervisor and coordinator for end-to-end supply chain management operations to include worldwide procurement, shipping and delivery, transfer of property, and property management. Must be a highly organized self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-discipline team environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities, processes and demands in a dynamic work environment.


Duties and Responsibilities


Coordinate the door-to-door receipt and delivery concept with functional area Leads.
Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries
Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and inventory management
Organizing warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments
Responding to any issues or complaints
Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
Evaluating budgets and expenditures
Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
Ensuring all operations adhere to US, International and local laws and regulations.

Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements


U.S. citizenship
5-7 years of experience in global materials logistics and warehousing coordination
Experience in a Defense, Aerospace or government environment, preferred.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to travel up 25%
Having strong knowledge and proficiency of MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
Ability to handle multiple priorities, processes and demands in a dynamic work environment.
