Coca-Cola UNITED in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Material Handler-Loader to fill customer orders using tickets or voice, and to move products to the staging area for shipping. You will identify products, verify quantities, and ensure accurate picking in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Able to wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Able to read, write and speak English (duplicate line kept for completeness).
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift and electric riding pallet jack experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fills orders from tickets according to set quotas.
• Orders filled manually by walking and use of pallet jack and/or riding jacks.
• Identify product by description and quantity then removing product and carrying to staging area.
• Check for accuracy in picking.
• Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved.
• Sorts and places materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequence.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to Company standards.
