Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Process/Industrial Engineer to enhance material flow and automation opportunities in automotive manufacturing at our Tennessee plant. You will analyze current handling, optimize layouts, and lead automation projects that reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, IT, and Plant Engineering to implement PFEP strategies, support launches, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with material flow optimization.
• Experience with material handling systems and equipment.
• Experience supporting facility/layout changes and layout analysis.
• Experience supporting manufacturing launches and production start-ups.
• Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

This role is focused on improving material flow and material handling processes within General Assembly operations. You'll identify opportunities to implement automation, optimize plant layouts, support vehicle launches, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and increase efficiency.
