Job summary

Optimized Process Designs is seeking a Material Helper at the Baytown II, TX jobsite. You will examine material for damages, track locations, and coordinate on-site transfers to meet production schedules.

You will also monitor material movement from arrival through storage and usage, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in daily operations. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, punctuality, and a proactive approach to preventing rework through careful handling and documentation.

The jobsite located in Baytown II, TX has an opening for a Material Helper.

What You Will Do

• Examine material delivered to jobsite for damages
• Maintain status and location of materials.
• Arrange on site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain status and location of materials.
• Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site.

• High attention to detail to avoid reworks and errors

Some physical demands of being a Material Helper include:

• Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
• Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs
• Standing for extended periods of time up to 11 hours per day.
• Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
• Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Past experience working as a materials helper
• Previous experience in Supply Chain and managing inventory
