Material Handling Supervisor (Overnight Shift) – Concord, NC

About The Role

As a CBRE Material Handler Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 15+ employees, responsible for material handling functions supporting a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Make an impact on CBRE's Supply Chain as a Material Handler. You'll ensure smooth warehouse operations through expert shipping and receiving. This is an overnight 3rd shift schedule (Mon‑Thurs, 5:45 PM – 6 AM) with a predictable 2‑2‑3 rotation, giving you every other weekend off.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a team of material handlers to complete daily activities and ensure safe delivery of services.
• Collaborate with the client warehouse team to plan, coordinate, and schedule to meet production goals.
• Understand and apply GMP processes and procedures.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop improved methods for accomplishing both individual and departmental objectives.
• Hire, train, and develop material handlers.
• Coach and mentor to develop in‑depth knowledge and expertise within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Safety

• Maintain and promote a safety‑performance culture that is outstanding.
• Use appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and hazard‑free work area.
• Understand the operation, inspection, and daily maintenance of powered industrial trucks.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or trade school diploma) with 5‑8 years of supervisory experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team on multiple shifts.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
• Excellent client‑relationship skills.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• An innovative mindset to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
• Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
• Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
