Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the United States is seeking a logistics specialist to manage goods receipt, inbound/outbound shipping, inventory, and data entry in our warehouse operations. You will verify documents, handle packaging, and organize storage to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with warehouse processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe transportation practices.

Responsibilities

• Completes logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt, Warehouse, Transport, Dispatch).
• Accepts incoming goods and matches them to shipping documents (material number, description, quantity).
• Inspects incoming goods for damage and records findings.
• Ensures proper use of transport equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Captures data in ERP/data processing systems.
• Arranges acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in storage areas and records them in the systems.
• Maintains regular stock checks and inventory in storage areas.
• Assembles deliveries from storage compartments and checks quantity and article numbers against delivery notes.
• Packages deliveries per shipping instructions and packaging rules.
• Attaches shipping documents to outgoing goods.
• Handles transports within and possibly outside premises using appropriate transport methods.

• Completes operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).
• Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).
• Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.
• Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
• Captures relevant data in data processing systems.
• Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
• Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
• Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
• Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
• Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
• Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.

The base pay range for this position is

$38,100 - $52,393

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
