Overview

Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handling Equipment System Engineer to join their team. As a Material Handling Equipment System Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Optimization Performance team supporting post-launch testing and system evaluation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handling Equipment System Engineer

Location: Remote with 75% travel. Must be located in Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX

Pay Range: $58/HR on Experis W2

Not open to C2C engagement.

What’s the Job?
  • Support post-launch testing and coordination of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at various sites along the East Coast.
  • Evaluate operational metrics and analyze data to ensure system performance meets operational standards.
  • Create testing scenarios to validate throughput and system functionality after site launches.
  • Collaborate closely with launch teams and vendors to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Travel up to 75% to fulfillment centers, sort centers, and same-day delivery stations for post-launch support and testing.

  • 5-7 years of experience with testing programs and validation processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in automation systems and data analysis tools.
