Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is seeking a Material Handler | General Labor to support manufacturing operations in Tennessee. This role involves staging orders, verifying details, moving materials, and using MAC-PAC software and basic tools on a fast-paced team.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, good math/reading skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication. Temp-to-hire with weekly pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months related work experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist and reach.
• Hand dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities required to stage manufacturing orders in support of production requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of orders by comparing requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued.
• Mark identifying information on material.
• Move material to and from storage areas as well as the production lines using ground transportation equipment.
• Prepare material procurement requests via MAC-PAC software and manual requisition forms.
• Maintain a clean and neat warehouse and staging area.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and uphold organizational values.
• Report unsafe conditions or practices to supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
