Job summary

Wavepoint seeks a Material Handler / Yard Spotter to ensure smooth flow of goods in the warehouse and yard. You will operate forklifts to move, store, and prepare freight, and help palletize custom product displays.

Outside the warehouse, you will position trailers, coordinate with shipping, and perform daily yard checks. This role requires attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• CDL license is preferred but not required.
• Prior forklift and/or yard spotter experience is preferred.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 60 lbs, and exposure to varying climates.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load/unload, move, stack, and stage products.
• Inspect inbound/outbound trailers for damage and discrepancies.
• Perform order picking, staging, and product preparation based on shipping docs.
• Build custom display pallets and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation.
• Assist in physical inventory counts and other warehouse duties.
• Coordinate trailer movements with the shipping office and warehouse team.
