Maverick-Nv-LL in West Wendover, NV seeks a Material Handler to assist the Purchasing Manager in processing and delivering supplies for our casino properties. You will support timely delivery of all gear and materials to operations across departments.

This role requires basic math, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. We offer benefits including PTO, medical/vision/dental coverage, disability insurance, education reimbursement up to $5,250 annually, and a 401k

Description

The Material Handler will assist the Manager of Purchasing in processing and delivering purchases for our properties. Delivering all supplies and equipment necessary for operations of the casinos and all subsidiary divisions.

1. Keep records deemed necessary for purchasing department.
2. Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
3. Ensure products are delivered to proper destinations. Make sure products are handled properly.
4. Deliver purchases to the appropriate departments and obtain signatures.
5. Verbal & aesthetically pleasing communication skills.
6. Performs related and/or other duties as required.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Basic math.
• Physically be able to move/lift 100 pounds.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
• Honesty and Integrity.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works varied shifts, including weekend and holidays. Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
