Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to move material and inventory throughout the facility, using hand trucks and handheld scanners to support daily operations.

You will assist with packing, scanning, kitting, and counting products, verify orders, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and contribute to a cooperative team focused on meeting goals. overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math with or without calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule with possible overtime.
• Experience using a handheld scanner preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

Requirements

• At a minimum, you’ll need:
• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• It’d be great if you also have:
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives
