Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a warehouse associate to move material and inventory throughout the facility, using hand trucks, conveyors, and scanners. You will pack, count, and label products, verify orders, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting a 7S program.

A flexible schedule with possible overtime is required. Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, the ability to read safety instructions, basic math skills, and a positive, team-oriented

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

Requirements

• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment (it’d be great if you also have)
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives
