Position: Material Handler

POSITION SUMMARY

PSI Packaging Services, Inc., PA, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking a Material Handler to join our team. This is a full-time position with the core schedule from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch, with occasional overtime as needed. The role involves the safe loading, unloading, storage, and transportation of materials and finished goods within our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include manual operations and the safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, turret trucks, manual pallet jacks, and powered pallet jacks. Some tasks may require manual movement of materials. Good attendance is essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safety-first mentality
  • 3-5 years of forklift operation/material handling experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work the core schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime as necessary
  • Knowledge of safe forklift operations
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, crouch, or kneel for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of computer and barcode scanning systems

Success in this role requires commitment, teamwork, and a focus on safety in a drug-free environment. Experience with forklift operation in manufacturing is strongly preferred.
