Job summary

Haumiller Engineering Co in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Material Handler to move products within the facility, assist with skidding/crating, and drive company vehicles for local pickups and deliveries. This full-time role is based at our Belvidere facility and requires a high school diploma and a valid IL driver license.

You will manage stock, retrieve items, and operate warehouse software to fulfill orders while maintaining accurate stock levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; one year of related experience preferred.
• Valid Illinois driver license with good driving record.
• Knowledge of Chicago area roads and suburbs.
• Lean manufacturing experience helpful.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift.

Material Handler

Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and builds custom high-speed automation assembly machines for medical devices, consumer goods and industrial manufacturing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in our Belvidere, IL facility. The Material Handler is responsible for moving products to their designated locations within the facility. Additional responsibilities include helping with skidding and crating of machines and driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials locally.

This position is located at our Belvidere, IL facility.

What You Will Do:

• Fulfill order or delivery tickets
• Promptly retrieve items from storage when needed
• Maintain the correct stock levels per the stock list
• Store & retrieve customer supplied components
• Use a variety of computer software to fulfill responsibilities

What You Will Bring:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED). One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent preferred
• Valid Illinois driver license and must maintain a good driving record
• Knowledge of the Chicago and surrounding Suburban roads
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Ability to use a variety of material handling equipment, including a forklift
