Starting Wage: $28.37 + shift differential

Shift: 2nd shift 4:48pm-3:1am Monday-Thursday + overtime

Location: Faribault South, MN

What you will do:

  • Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Move items into and out of storage, kitting area, and/or production areas.
  • Follow all safety rules and instructions, maintain 5S standards of work area, and perform other functions on and off production line as required.
  • Maintain necessary information and records for inventory locations on the computer and ensure proper paperwork flow with the materials/goods throughout the process.
  • Perform cycle counting functions. Select containers for parts or products. Pack and seal parts, coils, or sections into or onto fabricated containers or skids.
  • Load materials into/onto trucks and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Complete shipping or receiving reports and records.
  • Operate picking systems, barcode scanners, PIT, power material-handling equipment, and trucks to move material and finished products.
  • Participate in the training process for all new team members. Provide input regarding the performance of new team members. Collaborate with other team members on safety, process, and quality improvement teams. Work with team members, supervisors, and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate hand tools
  • Ability to read and understand written English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing experience
