Job summary

AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing in Indiana is seeking a Material Handler to support our customer shipments and warehouse operations. You will coordinate receiving, storage, packaging, and documentation to keep our production lines moving.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and hands-on experience with shipping/receiving processes. You will work with the Materials Specialist Team Leader to meet production requirements and ensure accurate records and traceability.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving processes is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the implementation and continuous improvement of our customer production shipments.
  • Manages activities relating to receiving, handling, packaging, preservation and storage of customer-supplied dunnage, raw materials, tooling, and miscellaneous mail packages.
  • Manages activities relating to handling, packaging, preservation and storage of OK to SHIP product and shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Coordinate and maintain dock audit records of packaging and bar-code labeling for OK to SHIP products and PPAP products.
  • In-directly coordinates which product is Final Audited.
  • In addition to the above responsibilities, this position is responsible for other tasks as assigned.

Job Description:
