Job summary

Amphenol Charles Industries is seeking a Materials Handler to transport, store, and distribute materials and finished goods to support production schedules. You will maintain accurate inventories, record transactions, and verify shipping/receiving documents to ensure quality and traceability.

The role requires operating tow motors, performing safety checks, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth material flow. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Knowledge of UPS Worldship and FedEx shipping software preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receives, distributes, and stores products in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate finished goods inventories.
• Record materials received and shipped with dates, locations, and details.
• Review shipments for quality and accuracy; verify documents.
• Expedite shipments affecting production schedules and confirm details.
• Check accuracy of labels, quantities, and packaging conditions.
• Ensure inbound freight is undamaged and counted correctly.
• Transport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods.
• Resolve issues with colleagues, contractors, or vendors as needed.
• Validate and forward invoices to accounting.
• Dispose of scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Operate tow motor to load/unload trucks and move materials; assist in production lines.
