An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Clerk to support logistics and quality in a fast-paced environment. This role involves loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts, and managing shipping documentation to ensure timely deliveries. The primary purpose of the Warehouse Clerk position is to provide clerical, logistical & quality support for the warehouse. To help facilitate quality orders that are shipped on time by loading, unloading and moving materials within or near warehouse or work site and by performing the following duties.
· Reads pick lists and other documents or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or pallets to be moved.
· Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
· Operates forklift to load truck, and to assist in loading or moving materials, pallets and products. Utilizes strapping or bracing to prevent shifting or damage in transit, as needed.
· Confirms incoming goods part number and quantity match delivery notes and BOL and there is not any damage to goods. Labels incoming goods with receiving labels.
· Process and schedules outbound shipments to and from all destinations for multiple modes of transport (ground and air as applicable) when needed.
· When required, works closely with internal departments and domestic and international carriers (ground, and air) to facilitate and track the movement of products and packages to ensure that they reach predetermined destinations within deadlines. Secure necessary shipping details for export shipments
· Processes all aspects of shipping and receiving documentation (Commercial Invoices, Delivery Notes, customs declarations, billing and documentation of export orders, NAFTA certs., etc.) and provides these documents to the necessary parties to ensure timely clearance, remission of correct duties and proper completion of deliveries when needed.
· Maintains transportation and distribution procedures to ensure efficiency and select appropriate methods to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction.
· Corrects any erroneous information which causes failure of transmission and consults with appropriate consultant of the freight forwarders for guidance if necessary.
· Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
· Others may be assigned.

HazMat Certified (DOT) preferred, and Licensed Fork Lift Operator.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to communicate and converse with others. The associate is regularly required to operate a forklift and/or a pallet jack. The associate frequently is required to stand or sit; move and traverse, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The associate will regularly operate equipment, inspect, retrieve, communicate, converse with, discern, and convey information. The associate is occasionally required to work atop or ascend/descend. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works between an office and warehouse environment where they will be around moving warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, etc.). That work can be fast paced at times as there are deadlines that must be met. Equipment used includes a computer, calculator, printer, telephone, copier, scanner and fax machine. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
