Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Material Handler Team Lead to oversee daily facility support operations. The role involves coordinating and performing property management tasks, supervising a small team, and ensuring seamless collaboration with FEMA's Real Property Branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations related to office furniture, equipment, and files.
  • Meet with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to address performance and resolve procedural issues.
  • Coordinate the transportation of excess furniture and supplies within a 100-mile radius of Washington, DC.
  • Supervise furniture assembly/disassembly, conference room setup, and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain records of inventory and ensure database accuracy.
  • Generate and submit meeting minutes and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in property management or logistics.
  • Leadership experience in a team-based environment.
  • Proficiency in automated inventory systems and property management tools.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to operate trucks up to ¾ ton.
  • Public Trust security clearance or ability to obtain one.
