Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Material Handler for our Seattle area warehouse operations. The role focuses on moving products between facilities, loading/unloading with pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensuring accurate inventory processing via tablet/terminal systems.

The position is full-time on a swing shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.), requiring reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with the team to maintain productivity across sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in material handling, picking, packing, production, and order picking in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts and using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Valid drivers license with a good motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Transport product between warehouse facilities in the South Park area of Seattle in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist with loading and unloading product using pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Pull orders from shelves by hand, matching SKUs and verifying product accuracy with high attention to detail.
• Scan products and log warehouse movements using a tablet and computer-based inventory system.
• Backfill other team activities, including material requisition and receiving, as needed.
• Unload and load trucks and move pallets and boxes within the warehouse and between nearby facilities.
• Support operations at a nearby warehouse when directed, maintaining consistent productivity across locations.
