The position is a temporary assignment with a 2:30pm–11:00pm schedule and a 10% shift differential. Responsibilities include receiving materials, staging for production, and maintaining inventory records; forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and store incoming materials and inventory.
• Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines and designated work areas.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts if certified).
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in company systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Monitor material levels and communicate shortages to supervisors and production teams.
• Package, label, and prepare materials or finished goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per policies and safety procedures.
• Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Support ramp-up activities and changing operational priorities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Material Handler is responsible for the timely movement, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and finished goods to support production and operational requirements. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe work environment, and supports business objectives through efficient material handling practices during the swing shift.

Responsibilities

Preferred

• Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution center setting.
• Exposure to moving machinery, material handling equipment, and varying temperatures.

Pay Range

For candidates in CA: The pay range for this position is $19.33 - $32.84 per hour, non-exempt. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
