Job summary

Kinsley Steel is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our on-site fabrication team. You will prepare structural steel, help load and unload from trucks, and assist with transfer tables to feed the production line.

The role requires safe, efficient operation of a forklift and overhead cranes within a fast-paced shop environment. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; overtime and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years experience with overhead cranes.
• Experience using and operating a forklift is required.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with coworkers, clients, and supervisors.
• Work in compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform rigging work including jacking and staking.
• Load and unload steel from trucks.
• Load steel to transfer tables to feed production line.
• Perform other duties to support the fabrication shop.
