Job summary

Staff Perm seeks a Material Handler with standup forklift operation experience to join a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products.

In this role you will perform essential warehouse duties including shipping, receiving and inventory management. Forklift certification and the ability to operate standup forklifts are required. Location is Depew, NY, with a 8:30am–5pm schedule and a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, contingent on successful background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.

• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Drug test clearance
• Background check clearance

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Electric RCs
• Scan gun experience
• Some computer skills
