Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Austin, TX is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations, ensuring products are received, moved, inventoried, and loaded for distribution. You will operate a stand-up forklift, maintain inventory accuracy, and comply with safety, GMP, and food safety standards.

You will read load charts and shipping documents, complete pre-load forms, perform cycle counts, and support warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of material handling experience in a warehouse.
• Stand‑up forklift experience and ability to obtain certification.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math skills and understanding of shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory/documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work safely following GMPs, safety PPE and food safety rules.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in production/warehouse environments.
• Flexible hours based on operational needs and tolerance for cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks accurately and efficiently according to load charts and schedules.
• Read and interpret Bills of Lading, load charts, and shipping docs.
• Complete required paperwork on time, including BOLs and Sales Orders.
• Perform product consolidations and BIN transfers with equipment.
• Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and maintain check sheets.
• Carry out inventory cycle counts and maintain accuracy.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, safety guidelines, and PPE rules.
• Comply with USDA, FDA, and company regulations.
• Support warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations as needed.
• Participate in special projects and report to leadership.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring products are accurately received, moved, inventoried, and loaded for distribution. Operating a stand-up forklift, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, support customer deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

• Load trucks accurately and efficiently according to load charts and shipping schedules.

• Read and interpret load charts, Bills of Lading (BOL), and shipping documentation.

• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time, including Bills of Lading, Sales Orders, and Pre-Load Inspection Forms.

• Perform product consolidations and BIN transfers using material handling equipment.

• Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.

• Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete required equipment check sheets prior to operation.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inventory cycle counts.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse organization.

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety guidelines, and PPE requirements.

• Comply with USDA, FDA, and company regulations.

• Support warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations as needed.

• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.

• Flexible scheduling may be required based on business and operational needs.

Compensation

Pay: $18.55 + .50-cent shift differential p/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
