Job summary

Raytheon at Fort Bliss, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented material handler for a first-shift, onsite role supporting receipt, packing, shipping, and property control on a DoD program.

Applicants should hold an AA/AS degree with 6+ years of experience, be a U.S. citizen, and able to obtain a DoD clearance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree (or higher) with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to government information.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and/or clerical duties that will utilize computers involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment.
• May operate vehicles/forklifts to transport material or merchandise.
• May be responsible for government and company property tracking and control.
• Draw attention to important items and actual or potential problems and assist in developing solutions.
• Process and route according to local work instructions, as applicable.
• Report discrepancies and security incidents to manager for resolution.
• Interpret and follow special packing instructions and other packing requirements.
• This is a first shift, onsite position.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
