Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in a warehouse, distribution center or similar material handling role preferred.
• Experience operating Reach Truck and other material handling equipment is required. Must be able to maintain certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Unload and load trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and accessibility.
• Pick and stage orders accurately according to pick lists, ensuring correct product identification and quantity.
• Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and shrink-wrapping, adhering to company standards and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner, performing pre-shift inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding material flow and potential issues.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
