Job summary

McKesson is hiring a Material Handler Specialist to support our Clear Brook warehouse. You will receive materials, verify quantities, unload/load trucks, and store items with proper labeling.

You will pick, pack, and ship orders, operate forklifts and reach trucks, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. OT may be required; shift is Monday to Friday, 11am - 7:30pm; FT/perm with benefits.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of related warehouse experience.
• Experience operating Reach Truck and other material handling equipment; certifications required.
• Experience with JDE is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be willing to pitch in and assist with picking (loose and case).

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding material flow and potential issues.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Material Handler Specialist

Location: Clear Brook, VA, USA - 4027 Martinsburg Pike

Shift – Monday to Friday, 11am - 7:30pm. OT may be required and is mandatory if required. FT/perm and benefit eligible

Minimum Requirements

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience

Job Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution center or similar material handling role preferred
• Internals require at least 6 months to qualify
• Experience operating Reach Truck and other material handling equipment is required. Must be able to maintain certifications
• Experience with JDE 1 strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Must be willing to pitch in and assist with picking (loose and case)

General office demands

Must be comfortable working at heights

Must be comfortable working in refrigerated areas when required

Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift)

Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product)

May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day

May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day

May be necessary to work extended hours as needed

Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required

Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus

Must be able to hear normal voice sounds
