You will conduct performance reviews, assign workloads, monitor safety, and maintain records while collaborating with internal and external customers and suppliers on operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and reading skills; basic computer skills.

• Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.
• Knowledge of metals handling, staging, processing, packaging and shipping.
• CPR/First aid training preferred.

As necessary, the supervisor must take action to correct poor performance and poor behavior that puts the employee or team at risk or impacts the team’s ability to achieve its objectives.Job DescriptionShift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pmKey Accountabilities:Meet all production and distribution objectives and deadlines within the established budget.Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members.Responsible for conducting performance reviews and disciplinary functionsResponsible for coordinating, assigning, and reviewing workDirect staff on priority of work to be accomplishedAccountable for ensuring that all team members receive required instruction in safety procedures, proper use of equipment, performance standards, disciplinary processes and other workplace and Company policies, procedures and practices.Maintain timely, effective, and professional communications with all internal and external customers and suppliersResponsible for effective record keeping, filing and other administrative duties as required.Responsible for reporting any accidents or incidents that occur within the designated facility (on- or off-site). Accident or incident reports must be completed by the supervisor immediately when such event occurs and forwarded directly to the Operations Manager within 24 hoursMonitor working conditions regularly to ensure the safety of all team members.
